Partners

MVCDC began to collaborate with private child care centers in 1997 to expand the opportunity for additional eligible to have a Head Start experience. From that initial beginning with one center and 17 children, the Partnership program has expanded to almost 30 child care centers with over 500 children enrolled. MVCDC supports the partners with enhancement funding and supportive services such as case management, health, nutrition, training, and parent involvement.
