Kindergarten Readiness
Our goal is to ensure that children are ready to enter
Kindergarten. The early childhood development programs we provide,
including Head Start, concentrate on literacy and school readiness
for children ages zero to five.

Your partnering process will begin at intake and continue
throughout your participation in our programs. You will be offered
the opportunity to do a Family Partnership Agreement with our
family support staff. We will help you assess your family
strengths, needs, and goals you may initiate to help improve your
family and professional life.
We will partner with you to:
- Be your child's first teacher
- Serve in a volunteer role in the classroom
- Coordinate training in parent education, job skills and
placement, or financial assistance for education
- Help achieve skills in decision-making, group process, and
leadership through participation in the governance of the
program
- Join Parent Committees and Policy Councils where you will have
a voice in the program's administrative decisions
- Serve as your child's advocate when they prepare for and enter
Kindergarten.
